The Railway Group D Salary comes under Level 1 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) matrix. To qualify Railway group D exam, Candidates have to give a Computer Based Test (CBT).
Candidates qualifying for the CBT shall have to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET). It will be followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination.

HRA depends on the Category of the City.

Calculation of Dearness Allowance (DA) for Railway Group D
The Central Government has increased has included the rate of dearness allowance (DA) payable to Central Government Employees to 34% with effect from 1st January 2022. Dearness Allowance is calculated on the Basic Pay.
