The Branch Post Master job profile will include

  • Managing affairs of Branch Post Offices, India Post Payments Bank (IPPB),
  • Ensuring smooth counter operations during scheduled working hours using handheld devices/smartphones/laptops provided by the department,
  • Overall management of postal facilities,
  • Maintenance of records,
  • Maintenance of handheld devices/laptops/equipment for ensuring online transactions,
  • Marketing of postal,
  • India Post Payments Bank services and collection of business in villages or village panchayats should rest on the shoulders of office branch postmasters within the jurisdiction of the branch post.

JOB PROFILE OF ASSISTANT BRANCH POSTMASTER (ABPM)

The job profile of an Assistant Branch Post Master will include

  • All tasks of assisting Branch Postmasters in counter duty using stamp/stationery sale, transportation, doorstep deposits/payments/other transactions under IPPB,
  • Mail delivery

JOB PROFILE OF DAK SEVAK

The Job Profile of Dak Sevaks will include

  • All functions of viz sale of stamps and stationery,
  • Conveyance and delivery of mail, and
  • Any other duties assigned by Postmaster/Sub Postmaster including IPPB work in the Departmental Post Offices/RMS.
